History
In ancient Sicilian residences, to preserve the family estate, inheritance typically went to the firstborn male. Daughters were often left without a dowry and, unable to marry, remained in the family home to care for their parents. We’ve dedicated one of our rooms to these unmarried daughters—the “schette.”

“Schetta” consists of two main areas: the entrance opens onto a comfortable living space with armchairs and a writing desk, while the bed is in the adjoining room, connected to a spacious walk-in wardrobe. The generously sized bathroom features a central glass shower. Contemporary design pieces are mixed with antique furniture. The room overlooks the interior balcony of the residence, the fig tree courtyard, and a small private courtyard exclusively for this room.
